Everyone is welcome on this board, but please remember this is a supply company's message board and it is meant for discussing our products... not other suppliers products or kits bought at local craft stores, etc.  We are here to help our customers with Bitter Creek candlemaking supply products, and our staff as well as the other board members here are always happy to do so.

We ask that everyone be respectful of each other, and be polite even if you have disagreements... keep it civil.  This is not a board that allows drama, malicious anonymous posting or stirring the pot, so such posts are deleted.

Those who are serious about candlemaking are welcome to come here for help with BC products and we will teach the correct and responsible way to get into candlemaking and make safe quality products that are worthy of being put on the market.  We encourage our customers to be diligent in their product testing and research to make only the best and safest product for both their own protection and also their customers protection.  If you are new to candlemaking I encourage you to read this article before getting started:  http://www.candlecauldron.com/beginners.html

Candlemaking is not a "get rich quick" thing, and you cannot learn to make good quality candles overnight.  We encourage people to take it seriously and learn the craft well.  We sell to hobbyists as well as professional candle manufacturers, but we try to educate our customers of all levels as it's important to make safe products whether you're selling them or just making gifts.  These are products that will be burned in peoples homes, it's nothing to make light of (no punn intended).  We also strongly encourage anyone selling candles to get product liability insurance and use caution labels on your candles so that your customers have instructions on proper burning.

Happy Candlemaking
